Dream Fulfilled – Living in Malibu: How to Manifest

Dream Fulfilled – Living in Malibu: How to Manifest

I used to dream about Malibu. When I was in high school, my friends and I used to take Kanan Road in a vintage jeep, top down, listening to the Steve Miller Band. We would drive up to Zuma 7 and spend the entire day lying in the sand and jumping waves in the water.

Malibu wasn't just a place; it was a feeling. It reminded me of home, a childhood spent on the beach with my family. Malibu was the scent of salt air, the crash of waves. It was a dream of days spent walking barefoot on the beach. It was the dream of the ease of morning coffee by the sun. The beach, the mountains. Malibu represented freedom, beauty, and a version of myself that felt completely at peace. That felt most authentic and most at home in my own skin.

And now, somehow… I live here.

I want to tell you how that happened. Not in a “just be positive!” kind of way — but in a grounded, real, spiritual, and strategic way. As for my path to Malibu, it was a hard-fought and nonlinear path. I manifested this reality. Not all of it, but certainly the Malibu part!

Manifestation is not magic. It’s a quiet series of steps that begin with deep belief, clear vision, and tiny, aligned actions over time. It is deeply intentional and requires a knowing that can’t be proven; it just is. In order to really get there, you must get very quiet and very intentional about your wants and needs. A quiet and calm place.

I Gave Myself Permission to Want It

I stopped making excuses about why it couldn’t happen for me. I released all of it. I let myself truly want it, without a need to justify it. That kind of radical honesty is the beginning of manifesting anything. Get real, it’s ok if for others it may seem like “too much.” Maybe the container they have simply can’t hold enough. This is about you, and only you.

I Got VERY Specific and VERY Clear

It wasn't just “I want to live by the beach.” I wrote everything down on a big poster board. To the most minor detail, I imagined the home, the neighborhood, the feeling. The furniture, the clothes I would be wearing. The holidays I would host, the car I would drive. The joy and freedom I would feel. I envisioned my daughters and my son with me. A place they grew up visiting to play on the playground at Cross Creek. A place I came when I was pregnant with them. I imagined them walking into town. This sends the message to the universe that you are clear, and mostly it sends the message to you, the manifester, that you DESERVE it all. That the dreams will come to fruition. It starts with you, with your beliefs.

Step 3: I Stayed Open to the How

I didn’t force it. I didn’t demand it on my timeline, I stayed open to the universe, to receiving, and to saying YES to life. I followed the nudges, stayed alert to synchronicities, and trusted the unfolding. How it would happen wasn't always clear, and some days may not be even as I am here in Malibu — but I believed that if I stayed in alignment, the opportunity would come. Alignment with my soul's mission, and with whatever external manifestation that takes.

Living the Dream (and Living in Reality)

Now that I’m here, my manifestation has shown itself as Malibu Soul Fine Jewelry. I still pinch myself when I look at the water, when I take a drive to the store on PCH. When I pick my daughter up from school, and I get to look out and see the ocean on a clear day from the carpool lane. I try to remember that every dream that’s ever come true started as a whisper in the soul. That it shows up when the universe decides it’s your time. When your soul's vessel is open to receive and that the universe will never allow you to fall completely.

You, too, can manifest your version of Malibu, whatever that looks like for you. Start by allowing yourself to want it. Then begin the beautiful, slow dance of becoming the version of yourself who already has it. Don’t be afraid to say it, to write it down, to make it real. You deserve it.

Because you are in there. Your dreams deserve to become your reality. You deserve to make your dreams a reality.
